Woodfield’s 36th Kiva loan made to Zimbabwe

Woodfield made another loan to help people in Zimbabwe

Woodfield has made it’s 36th Kiva loan to a lady named Loveness from Masvingo, in south eastern Zimbabwe. It is a town some Woodfield teachers travelled through on a trip to Zimbabwe several years ago.

Loveness is married with three children; two of them are attending school. Loveness runs a food business baking buns and bread. The business has been in operation for six years. She says the main challenge faced is that of small oven capacity to meet the demand for buns and bread.

Loveness will use the loan to purchase baking pans and baking flour. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will enable her to improve the welfare of her family. In the future Loveness plans to build her own building for the bakery.
