On Thursday 27th March, Year 8 pupils visited The Globe Theatre in London as to enhance the work done this term on the play Macbeth.

Accompanied by their English teachers and support staff, we had a tour of the theatre and learnt about what it was like in the original Globe, 400 years ago. They also worked with actors to help them understand the play and its themes, as well as getting the chance to show off their acting skills. There's a photo gallery here.
