9MM: Journey to Alperton
9MM travelled to Alperton on public transport.
9MM visited Alperton School on the afternoon of Tuesday 26th February as part of their integration program, culminating with them joining Alperton School in September 2013. The group have all been working on their travel training with Vicki over the last few months. After walking to the nearest bus stop from school, they took the 83 bus to Alperton School.
Once at Alperton they took part in a number of activities, some with ex-Woodfield pupils who moved to Alperton in September 2012. They also took the chance to meet some of their teachers and familiarise themselves with the environment at Alperton.
After a great afternoon, each pupil made their own way home using the bus routes they had been trained to use during travel training sessions with Vicki our travel training coordinator.
