Acts of Kindness..

The “Acts of Kindness Tree”..

The "Acts of Kindness Tree" came about from a discussion in the whole school assembly on Monday 3rd February. (when our thought of the week was 'take care of each other'). It is a more permanent record of those spontaneous acts of kindness that we all like to experience.

During the assembly, we explored what it meant to take care of each other and pupils gave many, many good examples of how they could do this. We also explored how it would make you feel if those around did not take care of each other. We want Woodfield to be a safe and caring school.

I asked pupils to show that they could be caring to each other  and that I would like to 'catch' them doing this. I said that if I caught them being kind and helpful they would receive a prize in assembly.
