Expressive Arts Extravaganza.

Celebrating effort, success and talent in the Arts.

On Monday July 13th, was the Woodfield Extravaganza, where the students work in Music, Drama, Dance and Art was showcased. The Extravaganza is to celebrate the time and energy that our students have been putting in to their work and passions. It is when we come together as a whole school to celebrate their talents and abilities.

The show opened with a couple of songs from the staff band, as a warm up to the afternoon..

7SL and KS4-Music performed songs they had been working on in lessons.

7CN and 8SH presented short plays that they had worked on in Drama.

Virginia, Shaquille and Skyler performed an expressive dance, and MAP class showcased a dance they have learnt together.

Presentations were made demonstrating the work being done in DT, Art and Enterprise; and there was a Showreel of students Music ICT work.

In closing, we had some crowd pleasing performances by Sixth Form students Akeem and Adan.

The performers and presenters were in excellent form, and I have never seen a better audience than we had this Monday.

A massive thank you to all staff and students involved in producing a fantastic end to the year.
