French Day

Our first official Woodfield French day took place on Wednesday 9th March.

Our first official Woodfield French Day took place on Wednesday 9th March. The aim was to have a fun day which allowed pupils to immerse themselves in France for a day. Our KS3 pupils enjoyed a très fantastique day, packed with a variety of fun cross curricular activities, such as literacy and maths in French, to celebrating Bastille Day in Humanities, cycling 'Le Tour de Woodfield', making and tasting French food, singing songs and taking part in traditional French dances and games.

At the end of the day pupils attended a play in both French and English, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. As the day was such a success, we will repeat this next year and make it an annual tradition at Woodfield!
