Dear Parents / Carers,

I need to inform you all that Woodfield School will be closed for our pupils on Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th March 2023 due to the large number of NEU Member Teachers taking industrial action and possibly additional NEU Support Staff Members taking industrial action in solidarity. We have assessed the situation and have genuine concerns that we will not have adequate staffing to maintain a safe environment. The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government over pay. Our school will always be committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our pupils and delivering a high-quality education for all.
