Last Monday all the year 11s visited the Hare Krishna temple in Watford. This supported the work that they are doing in Humanities: visiting different places of worship. We started by visiting the cow shed and had a ride on a cart pulled by 2 oxen. That was a first for everyone. After that everyone, teachers included, dressed up in traditional Indian costumes and had their faces painted. Then we went into the temple and took part in the arti ceremony.Afterwards we had a delicious vegetation lunch and finished up with cookies made in the bakery. All in all a great trip.
