Woodfield Attendance and Punctuality Policy

Woodfield School aims to provide an environment where all students feel safe and want to learn. It is the duty of both parents and teachers to ensure that students attend school regularly and see the benefit of attending regularly. Where students have irregular attendance we will involve the school’s Parent Liaison Officer EWS and parents to help improve attendance.

Children Missing in Education

Daily contact is made by the school office with parents each morning. If there is no response by the end of the morning the Parent Liaison officer will make a further attempt to make contact. if this is not successful a referral will be made to the EWS officer attached to the school. This procedure is in line with the Brent Policy on attendance monitoring. The named person to contact in Brent is:
