Sports Leaders

Sports Leaders is a program that is run at Woodfield School which helps students to build confidence through teaching others sporting activities. Students from year 8 have been participating in this program since the start of term and have done exceptionally well. Some of the skills that have already learnt are: communication, leadership and teamwork.

Today the year 8 students attended Kingsbury High School, where they helped other sports leaders to coach primary school aged students to play mini games, for example under’s and over’s; parachute game; skipping and different types of relays.
