One of the most exciting, long-term research projects we are involved is working alongside schools from across Europe. Once again the focus reflects our SEND and Inclusion foundations.
The project is:
“Equal educational opportunities for students with learning difficulties”.
The project is being led by the 3rd Gymnasio in Kilkis, Greece.
The other schools contributing are: Gymnasio Latsion in Nicosia, Cyprus; IES Francisco Montoya in El Ejido, Spain; Ahmet Karacigan Orta Okulu in Konia, Turkey and Woodfield School in Brent, London, UK
You can now learn more about the project from our dedicated website LearningDifficulties.eu
Small groups of teachers and pupils will travel to four of the countries over the next two years.
During each visit there will be a curricular focus on teaching and learning in one of the following curricular areas: Mathematics; Art; Computing; Science. Each of the partner school will share their specialist practice for the co-construction of a differentiated curricular approach. Erasmus+ is funded by the European Union to create opportunities across Europe. The National Agency financing participation from the Uk is The British Council.
