School Lunches & Snacks
We offer mid-day meals that are cooked in the school’s kitchen. We expect meals to be paid for in advance on a weekly basis. The cost of school lunches for a 5 day week is £10.75, (£2.15 per meal).
From September 2022, the cost of school lunches for a 5 day week is £11.00, (£2.20 per meal).
If for any reason lunches are not being paid for we will have to insist your child brings a packed lunch from home.
Payments for school meals is now completed through School Money. Contact the office for your username and password.
There will always be a choice of food but please tell us if your child has a special dietary need so that we can advise you whether it can be met. The menu is available to view below.
Pupils may, if they wish, bring a packed lunch; this will be eaten in the dining room together with those pupils eating school meals.
We have become a nut free school as we have students with a severe nut allergy. A packed lunch must not include any drinks other than water, no nuts, no crisps or sweet products.
We encourage healthy eating at all times. If you are unsure about the suitability of an item for your child’s packed lunch, contact the school office to check.
A child is entitled to a free meal if the family receives Income Support; application forms are available from Brent Customer Services and must be applied for/renewed each year. Pupils will not be able to have a school lunch if the free school lunch form is not completed.
We provide a well balance menu using only halal meat and providing vegetarian options each day. A variety of vegetables and fruit are available.
If you have any comments about the menu or arrangements for your child's lunch, please contact the school office.
